Brentwood, TN resident and Warren County, TN native, Joey A. Jacobs, age 69, was born June 30, 1953 and died January 14, 2023 at Alive Hospice of Nashville, TN following an extended illness.           

A retired entrepreneur and CEO in healthcare and a member of the Church of Christ, he was the son of the late, Carl Douglas Jacobs, Sr. and Muriel Lellene Casey Jacobs.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Douglas Jacobs.

Mr. Jacobs was married to Debbie Hammer Jacobs of Brentwood, TN on June 11, 1976. In addition to his wife, Mr. Jacobs is survived by two sons, Brent (Katie) Jacobs and Scott Jacobs, both of Brentwood, TN; three grandchildren, Emmaline, Joey Kate and Hunt Jacobs of Brentwood, TN; brother, Mike (Marsha) Jacobs of McMinnville, TN; sister, Abbe (Bryan) Hale of Brentwood, TN; sister-in-law, Marian Jacobs of Morrison, TN; two nieces, Carla (Eric) Clay of Pelham, TN and Amanda (Chris) Gibbs and sister-in-law and brother-in-law,  Brenda (Jimmy) Martin of Naples, FL.

Graveside service and interment will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, January 20, 2023 in Bascom Cemetery in Warren County, TN with Clark Flatt officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.at High Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Fuel Program at Morrison Methodist Church, Nashville Predators 365 Pediatric Cancer Fund or Churches of Christ Disaster Relief Fund.
